  1 Incorporate & Continue Guillermo Ospina My main take away is that my body as a whole is an expressive element for me and a I have at my disposal at all times.  The experience though the class activities challenge me to embody my imagination and different ways to conceive myself as the actor of the music and expression that inhabits in me.   Even though this is probably the begining of a stage of more exploration of my body, I feel that I can incorporate and continue developing elements of stage presence, character, spontaneity and creative process of getting outside of the box of just playing music and my imagination.  I feel grateful for the process, and empowered to continue exploring the possibilities of performing with everything a got.  2 Driving & Navigating My Artistry Callie Rodina This class I have SO many take aways. Journey to the World of the Character / Final

The World Yonder Dr. Jade R. McCutcheon (2013 ) in her book Performance Technologies  mentions how in Chekhov's technique, the actor becomes a shaman of sorts, and ancient tribal priest, who, in an altered state of consciousness, travels outside of himself, to make a spiritual journey from home to the land of the gods (p.118). In an Independent Study course with Dr. McCutcheon, during one of the sessions, I was able to travel instead to the world of the character. Dr. McCutcheon, through a guided meditation, facilitated my access to the character's magic world yonder. In there, I was able to feel the world of the character in detail. I was able to describe in vivid detail what that world smelled, tasted, sounded, looked and felt like in my body. That information was essential in embodying my character "Life" in the Winter's Tail by W. Shakespeare.
